And I'm a fourth year Computing Science (MSci) student at Robert Gordon University who loves to solve problems creatively. I've gained experience in the industry of technical support and have utilised many different programming languages. I'm always pushing myself to learn new things and find new ways to solve problems in the world around me.
As a programmer I've built apps, websites and programs, and am proficient at working solo, and as part of a team. I've also had the opportunity to gain real world work experience as a Temporary Trainee Engineer with MJD Systems, a Cyber Security and Tech Consultancy company based in Moray. Here I sharpened my skills in Customer Service, Computer Repair and Teamwork.
Studying at Robert Gordon University has been an incredibly valuable experience, and has helped me to improve my Communication, Problem Solving and Teamwork skills, working in many large projects with a variety of other students. A highlight of my time at Robert Gordon University has been participating in the yearly hackathon, RGUHack. This exciting coding event brings together many students from across RGU to try solve problems in the industry today, encouraging students to improve their problem solving and teamwork abilities.
